The Jump Start Smoothie

Get your day going with a beautiful blend of vitamins and minerals for a great boost of energy in the beginning of your day (or at any time). You can mix up the fruit of your choice, but this is a framework for any essential smoothie filled with tons of nutrients. Breakfast is an ideal time to drink this excellent concoction, as it provides the perfect start to your day with potassium, various vitamins, protein, antioxidants, and probiotics.

The blueberries and blackberries provide a great source of antioxidants, and frozen ones can provide a nice texture for your smoothie. Bananas are always a good base for a smoothie, adding creaminess and a boost of potassium for regulating blood sugar. Using yogurt is also a great way to bring health to the table, giving your body calcium for strength and energy, and probiotics (healthy bacteria) to aid digestion. Apples provide a bit of fiber, flavonoids, antioxidants and vitamin C, and celery adds some vitamin A and multiple B vitamins.

Always choose organic ingredients for the best taste, particularly local if you can. So, grab your blender, throw a few things inside, and make one of the most delicious, energizing, and effortless meals you can imagine.

This recipe makes one large smoothie or two smaller ones. Add anything else you like!
