Everett Health Insurance

Everett, Washington has very similar health insurance plans to the rest of the state of Washington, but they only have 4 health insurance companies that offer individual plans currently (this can change based on what Premera Blue Cross does in 2011).

With a population of just about 100k, Everett, Washington is actually the 6th largest city in Washington and thus qualifies for one of these premium investigations that everyone loves so much.  So here it goes.

Sample Everett Health Insurance Quote for 35 year old male

I took a healthy and vibrantly handsome man (yeah me, so what) and ran a sample health quote using the Everett zip code of 98203.  Remember, your results will vary greatly based on age, gender, and family size, with family size being one of the most dynamic factors in their models which is why I ran the quote on a single person even though I am happily married and off the market, Everett women.

So which plan did I choose for myself?  If you chose the GroupHealth plan too you are correct, the main advantages being the unlimited office visit copayments and the lower deductible (even though the out of pocket is in line with the other companies), and most of all the premium of $112 which in the Everett health insurance market is number one.

In a tie for second and third place is KPS and LifeWise which are literally the same though LifeWise has a lower total risk exposure by $1,000 per year but the KPS plan is $4 cheaper and covers generic prescriptions to some point (but with WalMart these days selling drugs very cheaply this is not so important) so it is pretty much a toss up.

Finally, there is the Regence Blue Shield plan and to be really honest, they are not trying very hard in the entire state of Washington and are just not very competitive in my age band (they might be in yours though so run your own Everett health insurance quotes here).  In fact, I had to pick their HSA plan which is pretty unfair to the other carriers.  Still it is a good way of showing that HSA plans are very tempting for people that just like to know that they have some kind of coverage.
