East Coast Health Insurance offers all 5 of the main health insurance companies in Arkansas including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arkansas, Humana, United, and a company called QualChoice an Arkansas based domiciled health insurance companies. There are a few other health insurance companies that offer health insurance plans in Arkansas that we can offer, but elect not to as they do not meet our standards. In fact, if your Arkansas health insurance plan is not one of the five that I just listed I recommend that you call us at 888 803 5917.
Aetna In Arkansas
Aetna’s plans in Arkansas are very abbreviated so to speak as they don’t offer the tremendous selection of plans that they usually do in other states. Is this good or bad? Neither, hopefully as they should be expanding their product base in the Arkansas health insurance market in the coming months. For now their plans include the basic value plans, and high deductible consumer health driven health plans.
Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield
Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield, an Independent Licensee of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association, is the largest health insurer in Arkansas, serving approximately one-third of the fully insured market. If combined, the 39 independent, locally operated Blue Cross and Blue Shield Plans collectively provide health-care coverage for 93 million – nearly one in three – Americans.
Their Arkansas health plans actually usually come out to be the price leader in the Arkansas health insurance market which means that Blue Cross Blue Shield is the winner of the most health insurance for the least money award from East Coast Health Insurance (your best friend for health insurance!).
Arkansas Blue Cross provides health insurance plans for groups as well as well as individuals (under age 65 and for those who are Medicare-eligible) and families in Arkansas. In addition, Arkansas Blue Cross offers dental plans for groups and individuals and families.
The company operates through seven geographic regions in Arkansas with full-service staffs providing customer service, medical management and provider services closer to home for our members.

United Health One Arkanas
In Arkansas United Health One offers their usual nationwide health insurance plans including their traditional copay select plan, the Health Savings Account plans, and their Plan 100 & Plan 80 designs. I personally have the Copay Select plan from United Health One and find the benefits to be fairly good especially their prescription plans.

Sample Arkansas, Little Rock Health Insurance Quote
I ran the following health insurance quote to illustrate the Arkansas health insurance market using myself a 34 year old single (though I am indeed married ladies) male in the city of Little Rock, Arkansas. As you can tell from the illustration the Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield plan is the clear winner in this demographic, though to be fair to the other Arkansas health insurance companies, premiums can vary significantly from one demographic to another.
