Settled among several saintly regions in Missouri (25 miles north of St. Louis, 4 miles west of St. Peters, and situated in St. Charles County, O’Fallon is the seventh-largest city in the state. As part of the St. Louis Metropolitan Area, O’Fallon is close to the big city and offers great opportunities for education, business, and recreation. Several parks in the city and the surrounding region provide the perfect environment for nature lovers, outdoor adventurers, and anyone who appreciates the local terrain. A very American city, there are several patriotic monuments located in O’Fallon commemorating various historical events. O’Fallon also consistently makes Money magazine’s list of “100 Best Places to Live” nearly every year. The quality of life between work and play give O’Fallon residents a number of reasons to call it home.
O’Fallon, Missouri health insurance resembles it’s larger neighbor, St. Louis, with coverage from Aetna, Humana, Coventry of Missouri, UnitedHealthcare, and Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield. The market is one of the most affordable in the nation, adding another upside to living in this area. Saint Charles County residents – both men and women – have several cost-effective options available, and being within the St. Louis area, they have a special Carelink network plan from Coventry, as well.
Though Coventry will soon be part of Aetna, they offer some very good low cost options in O’Fallon, as does Anthem. As Aetna and Coventry are the top rated plans in this region of Missouri, either one would be acceptable, and they will also converge in the near future. Anthem didn’t get the best member feedback, but they still offer an array of benefits with their plans.
O’Fallon Sample Health Insurance Quote
In O’Fallon, if you were a 30-year-old female looking for the highest level of coverage for the lowest cost, your greatest choice would be from Anthem. Their Premier Plus PPO is offered for $124 per month, and covers all the upfront essentials (office visits, generic medications) with reasonable copays. This plan offers a traditional 80/20 plan design, and is a very good option for the cost, especially connected to the Blue Cross national network.
However, if traditional doesn’t suit you, one of Coventry’s best plans is offered in Missouri – the SJ PPO – which covers everything once you reach the deductible at no cost or a copay. What’s more, you get PCP and specialist access, and generic drugs covered for a fixed price from day one of your plan. After the deductible is met, emergency visits, chiropractic, and mental health/substance abuse are covered at copay – everything else is no charge. For this resident, the premium is $140 per month.
UnitedHealthOne’s Copay Select 80 is very much like the Anthem plan, which makes the lower cost the obvious choice, and the brand name prescription deductible is higher, as well. The only attribute the UnitedHealthOne plan has in comparison is the deductible credit, so if you like your plan enough to renew, your balance continues into the next year. If you’re a normal, healthy person, this may be a good feature to utilize, as not everyone can realistically use $2500 in medical services in a 12-month period.
