The Most Affordable West Palm Beach Health Insurance Health Insurance Companies
Right now in West Palm Beach health insurance is dominated by Blue Cross Blue Shield who offer by far the most health insurance for the least amount of premium. Their policies include co-pays for nearly everything with the deductible only applying to major health issues in the hospital. What this means that in West Palm Beach if you have Blue Cross Blue Shield that you are most likely year in year out to save money on your health procedures. Additionally Blue Cross Blue Shield in Palm Beach offers the most comprehensive policies as well. Get a free Florida Blue Cross Quote. Historically, Humana was the price leader and truthfully it was the best product up until 2009 when West Palm beach was inundated with affordable new health insurance plans such as Coventry, the new Blue Cross Plans, and Cigna. This might not sound like much to you, but as a health broker that actually markets all eight Florida health insurance plans in Palm Beach County I can promise you that is more than you can imagine. If you are looking for proof, you can call the agent that we just had to let go because after 4 weeks of training he still didn’t know the difference between the eight companies and was in fact consistently getting mixed up and telling people incorrect information.

What About the Other West Palm Beach Health Insurance Companies?
That being said unless I run you an actual physical quote for your age and family size I cannot predict the best company for you. So below I ran 8 quotes from every West Palm Beach health insurance company using the same parameter of 2500 deductible and a 34 year old, beautiful male, ( 5000 maximum out of pocket including deductible and coinsurance/co-pays) and office visit co-pays before deductible and prescriptions coverage apart and before the deductible.
- Aetna $188 This plan is better for young females and other demographics besides 34 males in West Palm Beach
- Cigna $166 Decent Plan, Great Pricing, but not nearly as impressive as the next choices
- **Coventry $135 Great Plan, Great Pricing a terrific option, though only in West Palm Beach other counties like Broward are too pricy.
- **Humana $122 Decent Plan, Excellent Pricing – used to be the old showstopper till Coventry became available
- United $151 Great Prescription Plan
- **Vista $215 Great Plan not competitive in Palm Beach (obviously!)
- *Blue Cross $177 Great Plan but I like a different BCBS plan but I had to pick this one to be fair to the others.
so the winner of course for me would be Coventry or Humana. I had Humana and their vanilla coverage and amazing ability to not pay claims led to me dropping them. Though for many people it is a good choice. Coventry has way better plan benefits like emergency room coverage and no waiting periods so if you have a choice go Coventry. Still though I think the Blue Cross plan in the example below is the best choice but does not fit the example. That is the plan I would choose and am going to get this year when my United Health plan renews and I get a premium increase. By that time (July) they will hopefully have the new Miami Dade Blue plan available in West Palm Beach and that will be the best plan for my age group. Remember this exercise was based on me alone and the numbers and the pricing will vary greatly by changing the variable slightly even. So go ahead and call us at 888 803 5917 or try running your own West Palm Beach health quote online.
*Though this is the not the Blue Cross I would pick, as the plan I like is only $161but with annual out of pocket of $7000 does not match the others, which is why I could not use it. Avmed is not available yet for individual health insurance plans in West Palm Beach.
** These plans only have $4500 maximum out of pocket so in actuality are slightly better than the others.
