Each plan design comes with the option of using the OAMC network, or a PPO network. Subject to which network you choose, your provider selection will change, but coverage and benefits are identical.
Aetna Individual Plans in Georgia
Open Access Managed Choice & PPO
Georgia OAMC members have the ability to decide whether they want a PPO network of the Open Access Managed Choice network. Plan designs and coverage from each are very similar, only with a different selection of providers. Offered in deductibles ranging from $1500 to $5000, these are a traditional plan with upfront benefits for a copay, and 25 percent coinsurance on hospital and other medical services after deductible. Urgent care, physician and specialist visits are all covered for a copay. Prescriptions are subject to a $500 deductible.
Open Access Managed Choice & PPO High Deductible
An HSA-compatible high deductible plan, you can choose from two deductibles and receive 90 percent coverage on all medical care received in-network. Members have access to all of Aetna’s extra perks to keep them healthy while their deductible is pending satisfaction, and fund a health savings account for tax-favored use. These plans cover preventive care in full with any PPO or OAMC provider before reaching your deductible, and include prescription coverage with the annual amount.
Open Access Managed Choice & PPO Value
A great plan for those who want the convenience of copays at a lower cost, Value plans offer five combined primary care and specialist office visits for a copay. These plans also include higher cost sharing, with coinsurance ranging from 30 to 40 percent based on the service. Generic drugs are also covered with no additional deductible for a $20 copay, and preventive care is free. If you rarely use medical care and still want protection, this would be a good plan to start with.
